friendsgiving

A few years ago, my friends and I started the tradition of girls' night: Thanksgiving {now coined friendsgiving}.  This year was my turn to host, which gave me an opportunity to (finally) bust out our wedding china.

I always try to set the table first, to ensure I have enough time to get it done in the event cooking takes a bit longer than expected {which it almost always does}. Then I set out a few appetizers and cocktails just before everyone arrives, so they have a few bites to munch on while dinner is finishing.

the details

It is so easy this time of year to get caught up in the stress of the holidays. Take some time this week to stop and soak it all in. Happy Thanksgiving!
