beach weekend

A couple weekends ago my parents invited us to stay at their place for the weekend while they were out of town. We jumped at the chance for a staycation down the street in the Pass-a-grille area. Wyatt was a little under the weather, but if you didn't know him, you would never know.

Pass-a-grille is seriously one of the cutest areas in St. Pete. The historic district has a few cute shops and Vida de Cafe has the most amazing greens juices and smoothies. On Saturday night, we bought fresh fish from a local vendor (it was more than it would have been at whole foods, but probably fresher). I love South Tampa, but it's nice to get away to a beach town that is so close on the weekends. Babies on the beach is probably my favorite thing ever. I kept expecting him to eat the sand but he wasn't too interested. I can't wait to bring him back when he's feeling better (we've had a rough month of cold and stomach bugs, back to back). As you can see he was a bit grumpy!
