{Sunset on Honeymoon Beach, St. John}

My husband and I were recently married (3.23.13) and honeymooned in St. Thomas a couple of months after our wedding {I had trial}. In addition to our honeymoon, we've been traveling a fair amount this summer. {Lexington, KY; Newport, RI; Captiva Island, FL}

Here's a few of my favorite snapshots thus far this summer:

 fishing with C on our honeymoon. it was really fun despite the 7 foot seas. Captain Alvin is the best.

    we hiked down to that water...rum was well deserved afterward.

                        

   Woodford Reserve Distillery, near Versailles, KY. Woodford distills small batches, uses copper pot stills and each barrel and bottle are numbered. Notably, Woodford utilizes a local farmer to grow the non-GMO corn used in its recipe (which is a necessity in the US, where approximately 88% of corn is genetically modified).
